INTERNATIONAL 3-DAY HANDS-ON
September 16-18 | Nieuwegein (NL)
Dear colleague,
The rapidly growing interest in neuromuscular ultrasound inspires us to further expand our educational program with a truly international hands on course that brings together all skill levels from basic to intermediate to advanced. From September 16 to 18, 2026, the fourth edition of the Dutch Neuromuscular Ultrasound Course will take place in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.
Over the span of three full days, you will dive into a blend of interactive teaching and extensive hands on training. This course is designed for clinical neurophysiology technicians and for medical specialists (including neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and rehabilitation physicians) who wish to develop or deepen their skills in neuromuscular ultrasound. You will explore topics such as equipment setup, scanning of entrapment neuropathies, brachial plexus and small cutaneous nerves, ultrasound guided injections and muscle ultrasound including diaphragm imaging. Throughout the course, you will work in small groups with ample time to practice under the guidance of our experienced faculty. The course language is English.
The previous editions have been received very positively by participants. The most recent course was valued with an overall score of 9.6 out of 10, a reflection of the practical approach and the supportive learning environment our faculty aims to create. Building on that experience, the upcoming edition will again offer three full days of interactive teaching and extensive hands on training.
We warmly invite you and your colleagues to join us for this edition on behalf of the Dutch Neuromuscular Ultrasound working committee.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing three inspiring days of learning and collaboration!
