Welcome
Dear colleagues
As the interest in the field of neuromuscular ultrasound is increasing, we decided to expand our teaching activities to include an international hands-on basic and intermediate neuromuscular ultrasound course. The second edition of this Dutch Neuromuscular Ultrasound Course will take place next year, from September 25 to September 27 2024 in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.
This course will offer three full days of interactive and hands-on neuromuscular ultrasound, and is ideal for practitioners who consider starting with ultrasound in their own practice and wish to master the basic skills in an short and efficient format. Topics will range from setting up your equipment, basic scanning of entrapment neuropathies, brachial plexus scanning and small skin nerves, an introduction to ultrasound-guided injection and muscle ultrasound including diaphragm scanning. Participants will have ample time to practice their skills in small groups under tutelage of our instructors. The course will be held in English throughout.
On behalf of the Dutch Neuromuscular Ultrasound working committee we look forward to welcome you and your colleagues to this event!
